Delhi Hotel caught fire

A massive fire engulfed a hotel in central Delhi's congested Karol Bagh area in the early hours of 12 th February, killing 17 people, including two people who jumped off the building in a desperate bid to save themselves. The deceased included three Myanmar nationals and an Indian Revenue Service officer, Suresh Kumar, 52. Two staffers of hotel Arpit Palace also died. Baseball Hall of Famer and trailblazer Frank Robinson died at the age of 83. The MLB (Major League Baseball) announced Robinson's death following a prolonged illness on Thursday, 7 th February. Robinson finished his playing career with 586 home runs — fourth-most ever at the time and now 10th on the all-time list. A two-time World Series champion and two-time MVP (Most Valuable Player) in different leagues, Robinson later became MLB's first African-American manager with the Cleveland Indians and eventually guided four franchises in four different decades. Sala the famous Argentinian footballer died on January 21, 2019 in a tragic plane crash. He wa only 28 years old After playing youth football in Argentina and following a short spell in Portugal's regional leagues, Sala began his professional career in France with Bordeaux, making his professional debut in February 2012.
