The Book That Eats People – A Review

The Book That Eats People

By John Perry, review by Unnati Ved

Read aloud age – 3 and up

Age group – 6 and up

I read this to my 3 year old daughter and she loved it.

This book is not for the faint hearted. It’s dark, makes no apologies and has no explanation for being bad. Yet is funny and a great read aloud. If you are ready to make those growls and howls and burp and slurps for your child,  he will be hooked from page 1.

The book comes with a caution “Don’t open it.” We all know what happens when you ask a child not to do something.

This is a good book for kids who don’t like to read or don’t listen cause the book is exactly that, it does not listen to reason.

A great Halloween book. Illustrations by Mark Fearing have the right menacing quality. Pick the book at your own risk we highly recommend it though. Click on the title to buy the book. (Amazon)
